Join us for a free concert at Zion Lutheran Church on First Street in Pittsfield.

Our 2024 program theme is “A Tribute to Ukraine.”

We will open with America the Beautiful (a beautiful arrangement by Philip Rothman), and the Ukrainian National Anthem, arranged by Keith Terrett for orchestra and chorus, followed by selected works of Ukrainian composers: Reinhold Gliere (Sailor’s Dance), Myroslav Skoryk (Melodya), and a movement of Prokofiev’s Troika. We’ll feature Pittsfield High School composer Davis Albayeros with selected string players, performing El Ultimo Baile. Our program will conclude with Beethoven’s magnificent 7th Symphony.
